Transportation

La Grange Elementary arrival and dismissal information

Transportation Changes: Any changes in after-school transportation must be in writing. Unless deemed an emergency, emails or faxes are not accepted. Changes may not be made over the phone.

Notes must include: student name, date of change, description of change, parent/guardian signature, and phone number.

Car Riders

Drop-off and pick-up is at the back of the building at the cafeteria doors.

Drop-off: 7:15 AM - 7:35 AM

Afternoon pick-up: Cafeteria until 2:30 PM, then front office

Late arrival: After 7:40 AM, students must be signed in by a parent/guardian at the office

Pull all the way forward to allow cars behind you

Pull up closely to the car in front of you

If you need to exit your car, park in the back lot by the cafeteria

Do not pass cars releasing or picking up children

Drive slowly and watch for pedestrians

Dropping students off at adjacent businesses or residences is not permitted

Bus Riders

Students are expected to remain seated and follow bus driver instructions at all times.

Continued behavior concerns may result in bus-riding privileges being suspended by the principal and bus driver.

Walkers & Bike Riders

Students who walk or ride a bike must have a written note on file in the office.

Bike riders will be assigned a spot at the bike rack located at the front entrance.

Bus Route Information

To find your child's bus route, you'll need their student ID number. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal — the ID number is displayed to the right of your student's photo.

Then follow these steps in e-Link:
1 Log in with your student's ID number as both the username and password
2 Click "Work with Students" to access the Students Home page
3 Choose "View My Students"
4 Select your student's name from the list
5 Your student's transportation information will be displayed

If no transportation information is listed, complete a transportation request form via Campus Parent.
