Enrolling at La Grange Elementary

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration is typically scheduled for the beginning of March each school year. Children must be 5 years old by August 1 of the school year they are enrolling.

Summer Registration

La Grange Elementary holds registration days prior to the beginning of the school year. This gives parents the opportunity to complete all necessary forms and pay fees.

What to Bring to Kindergarten Registration

Document Details
Proof of Residency A current (most recent month) utility bill from LG&E, KU, or LaGrange Utilities. No other bill types are accepted.
Renters / Shared Housing A copy of the most current utility bill plus a Residency Affidavit (available at the school) signed by both the parent/guardian and the landlord/homeowner. If renting from a company, a signed current lease is required. Contact the school with questions.
Birth Certificate Original state-certified birth certificate required. Hospital certificates and photocopies are not accepted. The school will view the original and make a copy.

During registration you may also enroll in the Leopard Spot summer child care program or reserve a spot for after-school care during the school year.
